Manila Philippines — Along with the commemoration of the 122nd labor day in the Philippines, the Department of Migrant Workers and the Department of Labor and Employment held a job fair.
DMW offers 7,000 job opportunities through 22 licensed recruitment agencies for Filipinos looking for work abroad.
Most of the job offers are in the field of health care, nurses, electricians, mechanics, service crew and many others.
At the same time, the DMW assistance desk is also open for legal assistance to OFWs and their families.
The DOLE will offer up to 30,000 jobs to Filipino job seekers.
Almost 2,000 people have been accepted today at the DOLE job fair from the agency’s 97 offices nationwide.
It is said that DOLE wants to fill more than 220,000 job vacancies in cooperation with its local employment offices.
