PAL FLIGHT TO HONG KONG DELAYED OVER ALLEGED BOMB THREAT

Manila, Philippines — Philippine Airlines (PAL) Flight PR300, bound for Hong Kong, was temporarily delayed after receiving an alleged bomb threat on the morning of Thursday, July 2.

Based on the initial investigation by authorities, strict security protocols were immediately implemented to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.

The Philippine National Police Aviation Security Unit promptly conducted a thorough inspection of the aircraft and its baggage as part of standard operating procedures.

Following the inspection, authorities declared the aircraft safe after it tested negative for any explosives or bomb threats.

According to Philippine Airlines, it strictly adheres to all established aviation security protocols and continues to coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure the safety of everyone on board.

PAL added that it immediately provided assistance to passengers affected by the delay and took the necessary steps to prepare for the flight’s immediate departure once security clearance was obtained.
