EALA LOSES IN THE FIRST ROUND OF AUSTRALIA OPEN

Manila, Philippines – Pinay tennis star Alex Eala lost in the first round of the Australian Open against American Alycia Parks today.

Eala claimed the first set, wherein she consistently scores due to Parks’ errors.

But Parks quickly adapted the situation and handled her things in her own way; she continuously scored bit by bit.

In the second and third set, Parks turned out to be the victor between the two competitors.

There was a huge difference between their current WTA rankings, with Eala being the world no. 49, while Parks being the world no. 99.

In a situation where the underdog can be the victor, anything is possible in sports. Parks beat Eala in the final scores of 0-6, 6-3, and 6-2.

With that, Eala exits early in the tournament.—Kyle Basa, Eurotv News
