PAGGAMIT NG EXECUTIVE POWER VS. MEDIA, TINANGGI NI TRUMP

Washington, USA — Mariing tinanggi ni United States President Donald Trump na higit niyang ginamit ang kanyang kapangyarihan laban sa mga US media.

Sa isang interbyu sa Dallas Forth Worth International Airport (October 1, 2026), hindi naniniwala ang US President na ginamit niya ang kanyang “executive power” para kalabanin ang mga news media outlets.

“I don’t think I’ve used it at all,” aniya.

Binaling naman niya ang usaping ito kay dating Presidente Barack Obama, na aniya’y mas malala ang ginawa at umaabot umano sa pagkakukulong ng mga mamamahayag.

“If you look at Obama, what he did was far worse,” ani Trump.

“He’d go and use his executive powers at a much level. For instance, when he had leaks, they would arrest the people that the reporters unless they gave them the no the names and the addresses of the reporter or whoever it is that gave the leak.”

“Obama used to go in and if there was a leak, they would say to people, “You have 15 minutes and if you don’t give us the information, you’re going to jail.” And I guess two people went to jail, 10 people gave it up. I haven’t done that yet,” alegasyon niya.

Wala pa namang sagot si Obama sa itinuring ni Trump.

Matatandaan na noong mga nakaraang linggo nagpatupad ng ban sa White House ang Trump administration laban sa outlets na CNN, MSNOW, at Politico. Dito pinigilan sila makapasok at hindi pinahintulutan na makapag-report sa anumang gawain ng US President.

Naghain naman ng temporary restraining order ang tatlong outlets sa US Supreme Court laban sa ban, kung saan ipnagkaloob ng hukuman ang kanilang hiling at inutusan ang White House na pahintulutan muli ang mga outlets na makapasok.
