Manila, Philippines – The Bureau of Customs – Port of Manila (BOC-POM) announces public auctioning of 10 luxury cars on February 11.
Eight of these vehicles were among those seized from the Discaya family, believed to be purchased using illegally obtained money from project kickbacks.
The vehicles set to be auctioned are a Lincoln Navigator (2024), GMC Yukon Denali (2022), Cadillac Escalade (2021), Maserati Levante Modena (2022), GMC Yukon XL Denali (2022), Cadillac Escalade ESV (2022), Rolls-Royce Cullinan (2023), Bentley Bentayga (2022).
The floor prices for the vehicles are placed at P4 million to P160 million.
The BOC collected P32.8 million from the November 20 auction of three Discaya cars, while P9 million from the second auctioning of two cars back in December 5.
Aside from the 8 cars of the Discaya family, 2 other Bugatti Chiron units are aming the vehicles to be auctioned next week.
BOC will also hold public viewing of the units for interested bidders on February 5-6.
