Manila, Philippines – Amid the controversies she faced in 2025, particularly the impeachment raps, the majority of Filipinos have expressed satisfaction on her performance by the last quarter of the year.
Based on the newest survey released by Social Weather Stations (SWS), Duterte got 54% of Filipinos satisfied with her performance of her duties by November 2025–two points higher than of September’s survey.
Her highest ratings came from Mindanao with 79%, followed by Visayas with 63%, 42% from Balance Luzon, while the lowest from the National Capital Region with 40%.
Duterte also got her highest points from the female sector with 57%, from the rural areas with 58%, and from 18-24 year olds with 66%.
Consequently, Duterte’s dissatisfaction ratings slightly declined to 26%, while 18% were undecided.
SWS TALLIES SATISFACTION SCORES FOR OTHER TOP OFFICIALS
On the other hand, SWS noted on the same survey the satisfaction ratings received by the succeeding top officials, including the leaders of the Congress and of the Supreme Court.
Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto’s satisfaction scores declined by one point to 46% in November.
30% expressed dissatisfaction, while 21% were undecided.
House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy’s satisfaction scores, meanwhile, increased to 33% by the last quarter of the year.
28% were dissatisfied, and 32% were undecided.
Meanwhile, more Filipinos placed at 36% were satisfied with Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo’s performance.
Consequently, 27% were dissatisfied, while 28% were undecided.
The survey was conducted from November 24-30, 2025, through face to face interviews with 1,200 Filipino adults nationwide.—Mia Layaguin, Eurotv News
