Pop icon Lady Gaga has unveiled her new concept album, Harlequin, tied to the highly anticipated film Joker: Folie à Deux. Released on Friday, the album features 13 tracks with a unique jazz influence, aligning with the tone of the Joker sequel.
In Joker: Folie à Deux, set to hit theaters in October, Gaga portrays Harley Quinn, the love interest of Joker, played by Joaquin Phoenix. Phoenix’s portrayal of the character earned him an Oscar in the original Joker film.
Last August, Gaga dropped the power ballad “Die With A Smile” in collaboration with Bruno Mars, giving fans a taste of what’s to come. She has also teased a future album, hinting at a follow-up to her 2020 release Chromatica.
