DEAD BODIES OF PAKISTANI MIGRANTS FROM THE SUNKEN BOAT IN LIBYA RETURNS TO ITS COUNTRY

Zawiya CIty, Libya — The 12 bodies of the Pakistani migrants that died in a sunken boat on Libya’s coast were already returned to their home country.

The boat that was involved in a capsizing incident was carrying at least 60 Pakistani nationals, where 37 of the passengers were rescued.

According to a government administration, 9 out of the 12 bodies have been returned to Kur `ram and the 4 bodies will be repatriated soon.

In regards to this, the families and relatives of the victims said that some of the migrants took the journey because of unemployment, as the situation from the province was worsening.

The Libya coast is a border between 6 nations  and a main transit point going to Europe for migrants that are escaping wars and poverty in Africa and the Middle East.
