Washington, USA — Whether there was a ceasefire or not, since February, United States President Donald Trump has repeatedly delivered fiery remarks through interviews and social media posts to project America’s strength against Iran.
Even US allied nations that refused to participate in efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz were not spared from his criticism.
Pope Leo XIV also became a target of Trump’s remarks.
Aside from these, the US President has also repeatedly criticized media organizations, claiming that their reports are inaccurate.
This week, American media outlets once again became the subject of Trump’s social media posts.
In a Truth Social post, Trump once again criticized American media organizations over what he described as misleading reports.
According to Trump, their reports were “fake news,” particularly stories claiming that Iran’s military situation remains stable.
To counter those reports, the US President boasted that nothing remains of Tehran’s military forces, including its navy, air force, and leadership.
He also claimed that Iran’s economy is in a state of disaster.
Because of this, Trump accused sections of the American media of committing “treason” against the country.
He further alleged that these media were only encouraging the enemy or Iran, and giving them “false hope.”
Trump did not specify which news outlets he was referring to, but he described those opposing America as losers, ingrates, and fools.
It can be recalled that several Iranian officials also criticized the US-based outlet Axios over its reports regarding developments in the peace talks between the two sides.
