Manila, Philippines – The Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP) and OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP) opened its online applications today, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) posted on Facebook.
EDSP and ODSP are two of OWWA’s scholarship programs for dependents of living OFWs with active OWWA membership status taking up any 4-5 year baccalaureate degree.
To avail the scholarship programs, dependents should make sure that their OFW relative’s OWWA membership is still active.
EDSP beneficiaries can get up to 60,000 pesos, while ODSP beneficiaries may get up to 20,000 pesos per school year.
The scholarship works on a first come, first serve basis, and the application period lasts from July 16 to July 31.
