THREE DEAD AFTER POWER STATION COLLAPSE IN SOUTH KOREA

At least three workers have been confirmed dead after a large part of a power station collapsed in South Korea this week.

According to Korean media, the incident happened while crews were dismantling a massive steel structure of a decommissioned heating facility inside the station.

Reuters said two more workers were found trapped under the rubble and are presumed dead, while rescue teams are still searching for two others who remain missing.

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung has ordered an all-out rescue operation and emphasized the importance of ensuring workplace safety.

Rescue teams have deployed heat sensors, search dogs, and remote cameras to locate the trapped workers.
