CONG. SANDRO MARCOS VOLUNTARILY FACES ICI

Manila, Philippines – On Thursday, House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos bared himself before the Independent Commission for Infrastructure.

He voluntarily faced ICI, noting his willingness to participate in the ongoing investigastion on anomalous flood control projects.

Last week, former lawmaker Zaldy Co tagged Marcos on billions of alleged budget insertions on projects in his district in Ilocos.

Marcos have initially denied the accusations and have expressed willingness to face any related investigation.

Marcos however clarified that he was not subpoenad nor is subjected to any investigation as he appeared before ICI.

Upon taking an oath, Marcos requested for an executive session, granted by ICI.
