Manila, Philippines — On April 30, controversial government contractor Curlee Discaya was brought to the hospital for a scheduled surgery on his right shoulder.
And after a full one week, Discaya is now back in Senate detention, where he will continue his recovery.
His discharge have been cleared by his doctor.
Discaya is among the top government contractor that were implicated in the anomalous and ghost flood control projects in the country.
He has been detained in Senate custody since September 2025 after he was put in contempt by the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee during its flood control inquiry.
