INMATE AT NATIONAL PENITENTIARY CLEARS INNOCENT MAN IN MURDER CASE AFTER YEARS OF REMORSE

Press Release

An inmate serving a life sentence at the National Penitentiary has unlocked years of burden by revealing the truth about his wrongful involvement in the murder of Dominic Sytin, which occurred in Olongapo City.

In a sworn affidavit before a notary public, Mr. Luib, who has been incarcerated for his role in the crime, courageously disclosed the details of the tragic incident. According to the affidavit, Luib admitted to wrongly implicating Mr. Dennis Sytin as the mastermind behind the murder in 2018. After years of internal struggle, Luib expressed deep remorse for his actions, stating that the time had come for him to correct the record.

“I made a grave mistake, and I can no longer carry the burden of my false declaration,” Luib said. “Mr. Dennis Sytin is not responsible for his brother’s death. I hope this is my way of showing repentance.”

Luib’s decision to come forward was aided by his wife, Lita, who helped him find a notary public to make his statement official.

This new revelation is expected to bring clarity to the case and, perhaps, offer some sense of justice to those affected by the wrongful accusation.
