Manila, Philippines – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has forecast continued rains for Mindanao and several areas in Northern Luzon on Tuesday, November 26.
Mindanao will experience scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), which could lead to moderate to heavy rainfall.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon, or amihan, will bring rainy weather to Northern Luzon affecting Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.
Isolated light rains are also expected over the Ilocos Region.
In rest of the country, localized thunderstorms are expected that may result in isolated rain showers.
No tropical cyclones or low-pressure areas are currently being tracked inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), Forecaster Aldczar Aurelio noted.
