NAPOLCOM EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO BEREAVED FAMILIES OF 2 POLICE OFFICERS KILLED IN SULTAN KUDARAT

SULTAN KUDARAT — The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Regional Office XII extended its heartfelt condolences to the loved ones, friends, fellow officers, and bereaved families of Pat Joerel Bullos and Pat Apollo Pagurayan, who were both killed past 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, at Tinumiguis Bridge, Brgy. Tinumiguis, Sultan Kudarat.

Based on the initial investigation by police, the two were on their way back to base on a motorcycle after conducting checkpoint operations along the boundary of Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat and Sultan sa Barongis, Maguindanao del Sur, when they were ambushed by unidentified suspects.

According to P/BGen. Alan Manibog, regional director of Police Regional Office XII, the ambush on the two victims was reportedly planned, and one of the motives being investigated is linked to their work.

“Their sacrifice and faithful service will forever be remembered as enduring examples of honor, integrity, and devotion to duty,” the NAPOLCOM Regional Office XII said in a statement posted on their Facebook page.

The agency also recognized the courage, dedication, and selfless service to the country of Pat Joerel Bullos and Pat Apollo Pagurayan.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing to identify the suspects and file the appropriate charges. — Angel Aldo, Contributor
